Tim Youde

Design Director

Trained in 3D design at Northumbria University in Newcastle, he has always been a practical hands-on type designer.

He started his career in fabric structures back in 1995 with another fabric architecture firm, working on a multude of projects for a huge variety of blue chip companies such as Boots, BP, Harvey Nic's as well as all the main UK-wide leading architectural practices.

Now Design Director and co-owner of TensileFabric, Tim's broad experience of the product, of fabrics, and the way they work, has allowed him to help the business grow into a firm that understands its clients' needs and how fabric should be formed, designed and delivered.

Tim enjoys an active lifestyle; a regular mountain biker, kite suffer and snowboarder, he knows that a good time out / work balance is hugely important.

Marc Powell

Marc has over 25 years experience working with fabric structures, having an unrivalled knowledge of all exterior, interior and exhibition installations.

His previous employment allowed a wide knowledge to be gained, working as pert of an extensive installation team, both nationally and internationally, on small scale exhibition structures to huge permanent exterior canopies and everything in-between.v

Now co-owner of TensileFabric, Marc has taken on the role of leading all installations, using his extensive knowledge of the canopies, they way they are best installed and best way to install them quickly and safely.

Marc enjoys a busy family life - though you may just find him tinkering with a motorbike or two!.
