As well as the Virgo canopy, we were also tasked with designing a new bespoke tensile fabric structure for another area of the creative arts campus.

The university wanted to bring life into a previously disused and neglected area. With the brief to cover as much area whist keeping the costs down, we designed a structure that required a single foundation and fixed to the existing building.

Both canopies were installed over 1 week by 3 experienced riggers.

The students now have an outside covered space where they can hang out between lectures - keeping them shaded in the summer sun and dry on all those wetter days.
