Case Study: Temporary Showcase Structure – Paris Air Show
Working in collaboration with Helm X, Tensile Fabric Ltd delivered the detailed design, manufacture, and installation of a bespoke temporary structure for a leading global engineering manufacturer. The brief was to create a high-quality showcase environment for the launch of a new engine at the Paris Air Show—one that would both protect the exhibit from the elements and reflect the innovation of the product itself.
Our team developed a refined tensile fabric solution that balanced structural performance with clean, modern aesthetics. The design ensured durability under variable weather conditions, while maintaining an open, inviting presence suitable for a high-profile international event.
A key feature of the structure is its fully modular design. Engineered for efficiency, the system can be assembled and dismantled in manageable sections, allowing for rapid installation on site and straightforward deconstruction post-event. The components are designed to be compactly packed for transport and storage, significantly reducing logistical costs and environmental impact.
Following its successful deployment in Paris, the structure will be reused for the client’s anniversary celebrations in the United States—demonstrating both the longevity and adaptability of the design.
This project highlights Tensile Fabric Ltd’s ability to support clients from concept through to completion, delivering flexible, high-impact structures tailored to demanding, global applications.
